| The Groveton Trailblazers Snowmobile Club promotes Safe and Responsible Snowmobiling
The Safe Riders - Snowmobile Safety Awareness Program is available for anyone who wants to prepare for a safety course ahead of time or just wants to refresh the rules. Each section of the course has a quiz at the end with the correct answers if you get them wrong. Parents here is your chance to prepare your kids for the class and review snowmobile safety with them! Young Riders
New Hampshire law changed during 2003 regarding young riders under the age of 14.
Under the Age of 12
-
Can only operate on land owned or leased by parent, grandparent or guardian,
-
or;
-
Can operate off own land if accompanied by a licensed adult who is over the age of 18.

( Within site and sound)

Cannot take OHRV Safety Course
-
Operators must wear helmet and eye protection.
-
Cannot cross roads.
-
ATV operators cannot carry passengers.
-
Snowmobile and trail bike passengers must wear a helmet.
Ages 12 and 13
-
Can only operate on land owned or leased by parent, grandparent or guardian,
-
or;
-
Must be accompanied by a licensed adult over the age of 18 and must complete OHRV safety course.

Operators must wear helmet and eye protection.
-
Allowed to cross public right of way.
-
ATV operators cannot carry passengers.
-
Snowmobile and trail bike passengers must wear a helmet.
Ages 14 to 17
-
Can only operate on land owned or leased by parent, grandparent or guardian,
-
or;
-
Must complete OHRV Safety Course to ride on public trails,
-
or;
-
Must possess valid drivers license.
-
( If you do not have a valid Safety Certificate or Drivers License you can not operate legally on NH Trails at age 14 to 17)
